About the Instructor

Master Lawrence Rouse has been an instructor in the art of Kung Fu San Soo since 1974. He has designed and implemented rape prevention courses throughout Los Angeles, and was an instructor for the Kung-Fu club at UCLA. Master Rouse has instructed LAPD officers in such areas as body searching techniques and knife take- away methodology. Master Rouse was also the 1998-1999 Martial Arts instructor for the LAPD Jeopardy Program, which is a system to help children and young adults avoid the gang lifestyle.
